Siobhan Burns is a brand and communications consultant with over 20 years of experience in in brand strategy, communications, and content development. Siobhan’s instincts and experience have helped her build successful brand and communications strategies for a variety of clients in both the corporate and non-profit spheres, with a particular focus on law firms. She has top-notch writing skills that have brought clarity and energy to websites, marketing materials, social media, newsletters, blogs, and press materials, and she has built and run comprehensive brand engagement programs for her clients.
Over the course of her career, Siobhan has held key positions in publishing, marketing, public relations, and communications. She began her career in magazine publishing, working as an editor first at Petersen Publishing Company, then at Bon Appétit Magazine, a Condé Nast publication. She then moved into corporate communications at Burson Marsteller, where she worked on reputation management for a Fortune 100 client, before leaving to run marketing and communications for a software company focused on the hospitality industry, and then handling press and communications for New York City Ballet.
As a consultant, Siobhan has worked with such highly regarded organizations as Associated Press, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Simpson Thacher, and Wyndham Hotel Group, as well as a variety of smaller companies and start-ups.
Siobhan received a B.A. in English from Amherst College and lives in Manhattan.
